Thanks for reading. I’m glad my itinerary is helpful to you. I didn’t visit anywhere in Indonesia other than Bali. If you are only visiting for 5 to 6 days, I recommend just staying in Bali as there is a lot to see (between beaches, temples, Ubud, etc.). I would say Seminyak is a posh area of Bali (lots of luxury hotels and bars).
You won't need as much clothing as you may expect; keep your packing for Bali simple, and plan to purchase items locally if you run out of outfits to wear. That said, you'll probably want to change tops every evening after sweating all day. If on an extended trip, you'll find plenty of inexpensive places that do laundry.
Bali is a beautiful island with so much to see and do. Although you can explore the island in just 6-7 days, spending 5 days in Bali is enough to get a good feel for the island and see all the major attractions. Which is better Bali or Maldives?
